|Recommended: Yesthe apartments are older, and noise between floors can be heard, i have not had issues with my neighbors during normal sleep hours. Maintenance has been quick to address concerns. Office staff easy to work with and friendly.
There is a pool but my understanding is it has been out of commission since the Earthquake in 2020. I’m not a swimmer so that doesn’t bother me.
Rent prices are reasonable, and apartment size is great. Like stated before, apartments are older but they are working on upgrading them inside and out currently.
Parking can get tricky if you have guests come by.
The community overall is quiet and residents are friendly. I enjoy living here.
|Recommended: YesNot bad for the rent being paid — Yes but with caveats. Not enough parking for residents, let alone guests. The dumpsters are too small for the volume received even though they are emptied twice a week. It takes quite awhile to get things fixed. I think there is too much fixing and not enough help. The grounds aren’t as nice as when I moved in - I think a different contractor is now doing it. Leaves and branches are not cleaned up regularly. I think the people who live here are quite decent - that is a definite plus.

|Recommended: YesCheap place to live at a great location — Overall I am pleased with living here. I have been here for 7 months now. I have had several sink bathroom issues and my air conditioner stopped working today. The staff is usually quick to respond and is friendly anytime I speak with them on the phone. I wish they would open up the pool

|Recommended: YesOverall A Good Quiet Complex — The parking is very limited, walls are very thin, my neighbors above me shake my apartment with their foot steps, and I can hear everything through the walls ceiling. But the apartments themselves are huge, tons of useful storage, a little dated, but kept clean, all the staff and maintenance I have met have been very nice and helpful. Its a generally quiet area. Great for families. Very happy to be here.

|Recommended: YesFriendly staff — The only problem I have is finding out through a neighbor after my car was stolen out of the parking lot that it’s happened a few times. I feel like the office that should notify the residents when this happens and past Instances.
Karah we are so sorry about your car and hope that it is found soon. It's against our fair housing laws to address such news as some people might find it as personal information they don't want out in public. We did issue a notice today of how to protect yourself from such theft like locking your doors and not keeping valuables in your car. Again, we are so sorry this happened.
|Recommended: YesSafest apartment complex I've ever lived in — Compared to other apartment complexes I've lived in around SLC, this has been by far the safest. I actually feel comfortable walking around the complex at night by myself. The neighbors are friendly and don't cause any issues.
They're older buildings and sometimes you can hear footsteps upstairs. We used to have a child live above us that was really heavy footed and we could hear him walk around during the day. But they have moved and we can't hear our new upstairs neighbors at all now.
My biggest complaints are that parking can be limited, especially at night or weekends. If you have friends over, they might not be able to park in the complex.
The dumpster will fill up with trash quickly and a lot of the residents will leave trash on the ground around the dumper once it's full. It's gross. But that's not the complex's fault. A garage truck comes for pick up three times a week.
Overall, still the best apartment I've lived it. I'd pick safety over anything else. Huge kitchen that fits an actual dining table, huge pantry and lots of storage. Large windows with good sunlight.
Thanks for your review Amy! We are so glad that you have chosen to live at Linden Colonial Apartments. We have upgraded two of our dumpsters to larger dumpsters to try to offset the amount of garbage deposited in them. Hopefully we see an improvement with that.

|Recommended: YesIt rocks — Linden Colonial is everything my husband and I want in an apartment The neighbors are super nice and the apartment itself is amazing. We have a great view of the mountain range and it keeps temperature really well a big upgrade from our previous apartment and the management is really helpful with any questions or concerns I have.

|Recommended: YesBuilding is ok but old — Besides water coming through our bathroom ceiling no maintenance issues have been catastrophic. Upstairs neighbor stomps around often but as a whole the apartment complex is average quality for the rent cost.
Thanks for choosing to live at Linden Colonial Apartments. We appreciate you reporting the water issue so maintenance could take care of it immediately. With people living above you, you will hear your neighbors. That unfortunately is one downside of apartment living. If you hear anything outside of normal apartment living sounds, such as a loud stereo or TV, especially during quiet hours please contact management so we can take care of it for you.
|Recommended: YesNice Apartment with Poor Parking Options — It's a nice, affordable living space with a good community, yet the issues considering compromised building integrity with earthquakes is a problem. Also, having only one covered and uncovered parking space per unit is very unfortunate, and you might have to park on the other end of the complex if there is no available parking where your building is.
Thank you for your honest review- we are so glad you are living here. There is enough parking for each unit to have two cars; one for a covered parking spot and one for an uncovered parking spot. I apologize that you have to park at the other side of the complex from time to time. That can be frustrating. We have had our buildings looked at after the earthquakes and the building integrity is not compromised. The few cracks resulting from the earthquake are superficial and will be taken care of when we paint the buildings. If you have any residual issues, please contact management so we can take care of it as soon as possible.
|Recommended: YesGreat Space — The apartments are spacious and property management staff are helpful Maintenance can take up to 12 days to respond to requests, so be sure to communicate clearly your timeline of when you need things completed by. We have some neighbors below us who play music pretty loud late into the evenings. Overall, we are happy with the space. It's close to public transportation, grocery stores, and the area feels safe.
